Narratives are present in many ways in people's daily lives. Their construction and structure are essential to understanding how media products gain attention and engage the public. From the perspective of narrative structure, the hero's journey, as interpreted by Christopher Vogler (2006), is used to observe how the structure is applied to the trailer for the album NOEASY by the K-pop group Stray Kids. Through observation, it is possible to see how companies, like recording industry, use narratives as a strategy to engage the public and create unique universes for each release. But, more particularly, we point out the strategic use that the group Stray Kids makes of narrative elements by appropriating the expression “noise music” usually pejoratively attributed to the group's songs, which now emerges as an elixir in the trailer under study, giving it new meaning.
